  There are so many great things about this place that I'll start with the coffee, which is probably why you're reading this review.  The team that works here are very friendly, always greet people happily in the morning, and make a mean almond milk latte (not easy as many places over froth the milk)! They are very accommodating to my early morning cold brew order, even when I show up a couple minutes early before they open. It is freaking delicious - just the right amount of bitter and smooth and perfect.
  
  Though I usually take my coffee to go on the train each morning, I've sat in the cafe with my family on a weekend morning - they have blankets on the chairs for those chilly mornings in the winter which is so thoughtful, board games for people to enjoy, and a generally lovely vibe in the cafe. Highly recommend everything about this place - keep up the good job Baba!

  Baba coffee is a great spot to come and do work, either on your own or with a small group. There are outlets along one wall, but when it gets crowded, you'll want to make sure your computer/devices are charged if you have to sit elsewhere. There are also some outdoor seats with umbrellas for shade. The music was a blend
  
  The coffee selection is good. I've had an americano and turmeric latte here, and they were both delicious.
  
  My friend got the granola yogurt bowl. She said it was good but would have preferred more yogurt - so if you're a fan of a lot of granola, this bowl is for you.

  I was excited to try out this place in Carlsbad. I ordered a cappuccino thinking it would be great and simple. But the espresso tasted burnt, even after adding sugar I couldn't get rid of the burnt flavor. The prices seemed a bit higher than normal especially considering the quality of ingredients proclaimed in the drinks.
  
  The environment didn't feel welcoming and the baristas seemed to have a stand offish attitude. It didn't bother me but it was noticeable to my friend and I as we left.

  We love going to Baba coffee the coffee is always so fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and also very helpful. They have a great variety of pastries and danishes to enjoy with your coffee they also make several varieties of avocado toast the avocado toast is always fantastic. A lot of locals come and chill at Baba coffee if you're in the neighborhood you should stop and also. The variety of coffee is quite nice as well has the location being almost downtown Carlsbad. If you're in the neighborhood maybe we can enjoy a cup of coffee together at Baba coffee

  I needed a coffee to order, which wasn't available at the local restaurant next door.  I came over and got an iced coffee with almond milk and hazelnut syrup.  I was very pleased with my offerings.  This is a quaint and cute coffee shop.  I would definitely come here again if I am in the area.
